Toggle: There is no hotkey, but the toggle button is connected to a thin cable that you can pull straight out and hides the actual device at the back. This might not seem like a big deal to some, but it's an extremely simple and aesthetically effective feature if you don't like the mess in front of you. I was really hoping for a keyboard shortcut device like KVM switches used to be, that would still be a great feature but honestly I don't miss it. Technical issue: Second, I now only have 2 devices properly connected, i.e. to go back to the first devices I have to press Shift three times. That worried me a lot. I assumed that the ports with no computers connected should be disabled, but they are not, they are active. My job was to connect the other two cables to two computers. So now I have ports 1 and 3 connected to computer 1 and ports 2 and 4 to computer 2. Two more cables than I wanted and I lose the USB port on the computer itself. But it gives me the option to add another computer in the future. Support: Why did I purchase a StartTech.com device? Because a number of other devices on Revain are unbranded and there is no one to talk to. StartTech.com comes with a guarantee (can't remember how long, but at least a year) and the best part is that I was able to chat with a real person on their site about the above technical issue. Given all of this, I realized that the price is fully justified. Quality: Device feels solid, USB cables are solid. You don't get a charger or micro-USB cable, but that's optional if you're using a lot of power. A lot of devices are skipping the charger and USB cable these days, which sucks but still. Easy keyboard and mouse switching, no need to connect power. The LEDs are bright, but if you don't like them, stick them on and you're good to go. The micro USB port is at the front, there was probably not enough space at the back, I would have preferred it at the back.
