Once installed, this mic works fine. The attachment system should have a large velcro strap that attaches to the helmet. If you don't place a small fragment in exactly the right place, the system may become disconnected from where you want to see it. Luckily, if you have velcro at home, you can cut off a large section and use it to perfectly customize the system to your vision and use. This proves it's worth the money spent and a little strip of velcro.
