I bought 4 of these strips because I needed about 60 feet for my deck and they fit great. The glue on the back isn't very strong enough to hold the tape, so I used a hot glue gun every few inches to better attach the tape. Rather than buying multiple inferior power supplies for these bands, I settled on a 100W weatherproof power supply. Powered by super bright LEDs. It is important here not to connect the LED strips in a chain, but to supply them with power individually, otherwise you will notice a drop in brightness. I soldered all the connections and used liquid electrical tape to make sure no moisture got inside. Although the power supply is rated for outdoor use, I decided to purchase a Revain weatherproof switch box for a more professional installation to keep things running smoothly. and dry.
