I had no idea a dedicated pool/spa hose clamp was needed! I bought a hose from a local hardware store and didn't see anything like it around, so I bought a regular hose clamp. I had a custom order with a pool/spa hose and everything seemed fine, no leaks. About a month later I found water at both ends of the hose. Water made its way through the spiral of the hose! I did a quick internet search and found these and after checking them out and reading reviews from others I knew they would solve my problem. Easy installation and not a single drop of water from the moment of installation.
