I bought these after having had good experiences with Jagwire kits and was reluctant to pay double the price for the Park Tools version. Pros: - Two magnets (reach and on handle) - Pen-style handle with built-in storage for cable adapters. Cons: - The stretchable magnet is weak and will drop the cable - Adapters don't hold the cable well and will come loose if pulled - The reach magnet is weak and won't hold if the cable encounters friction (it was decided to use a frequent one use needle nose pliers). This makes cable routing extremely difficult. - The magnet is too short (usually a neodymium magnet is attached to the needle nose pliers). This allows the magnet to stick to the cable. Adapter too wide for narrow frame holes (only use if your frame has oval holes with rubber covers). The functionality of this tool is so slow that I really regret not bringing it back. and replacing it with a version of the park tool, although I plan to only use that tool a couple of times a year. The park version seems to address these issues with a thinner adapter (to fit through smaller openings), a stiffer cable (for easier routing), and a stronger magnet (out of reach).
