Obviously not 100% cotton; At normal oven temperature the hem has melted in several places
This product claims to be 100% cotton but it is NOT. Terry cloth and padding can be, but the brim is made of nylon or a similar synthetic material. It melted around the edges from contact with the cookware at normal oven temperatures (e.g. 325 F, not extreme at all). Several customers reported the same issue, but this company somehow manipulated the reviews to keep the average rating of 4.5 stars. The best rating (1 star) is true. 100% MELTING!
