Update. You are still the best. Thought I'd try the Stride Rite as they were so orthodox but wasn't impressed so bought another pair of these. At least the eighth pair my son has. I have been buying the same shoes for my son for many years. It's hard to find leather shoes these days, and these mesh shoes are too cold in winter and won't last long. They come in white and black, with lacing or velcro, and I've bought multiple of each. I haven't tried other colors. They fit well, are comfortable and hold up very well. We never really had a couple. Not sure if it's leather or synthetic as some listings say 'leather' for the same shoe model number but this one says 'synthetic'. I can say they seem to hold up and wear like leather, they don't flake or make my son's feet sweat like other synthetic shoes he's had. If you are looking for a pair of leather boots for your child, give these a try. I saved about $15 by purchasing this pair from Revain (personal retail purchase).
