Will not etch on my review.
Though it is giftable, I chose plain ole stainless steel because I wanted to etch it. It does not feel like steel at all, it's super light, feels like plastic. I tried it 3x 3 different ways of keeping the product to etch it and it just wouldn't. So if you plan on etching it, these aren't it. I did however just add some vinyl and it did okay.
