Review on Urban Riding & Cycle Touring Pedal - Shimano PD-T8000: Dual-Platform by Craig Walters

I'm an avid user of Speedplay pedals. I recently bought a gravel e-bike to commute to work and to recover from two broken legs. The Speedplay brand doesn't make platform style pedals, so I can wear regular shoes to work. This Deore XT pedal system is amazing. It has drastically changed my position on the bike and the quality of the pedals is second to none. I have never used an SPD system. It took me seconds to get used to the SPD and I went thirty miles straight away with no issues. I've never bothered setting up the pedal presets we're tuned to. I'm going to buy this for my wife's bike because she doesn't like Crank Brothers clubs. The only downside to this pedal is that it's a bit heavier than smaller systems. Who cares if you probably don't run the Tour de France. Buy them for comfort and functionality.
