Review on 🐶 GoGo Bell Dog Doorbell: Housebreaking & Potty Training Tool - White (Qty 1) by Barb Bosch

We bought this bell to help our Whiskey Miniature Dachshund puppy (about five months old at the time of purchase) learn to communicate when he needs to go outside. When we first received her, she was internally trained on paper. Now that we are in our new apartment, we have put the papers for her in a safe place on the balcony. And while Whiskey quickly realized she needed to use the potty, she wouldn't have waited for us to open the door if there wasn't anyone around to let her out. Lots of crashes right outside the balcony door and it drove us insane. We knew our troubles would be over if we could just teach Whiskey to tell her to go out. The call came quickly and safely. It took a lot of patience and more time than others have reported (dachshunds are smart but notoriously stubborn), but in the end, Whiskey relented. We started by teaching her how to ring a bell like any other trick and she quickly mastered it. From then on we made sure she rang the bell EVERY TIME before we let her out. Here we are in about a month and Whiskey is now successfully using the bell as intended. No matter where we are in the apartment, we can hear the bell when it rings.
