This flash drive connects to a USB port, allowing you to easily transfer files or simply store them on this device. I have the 8GB USB 2.0 model. I believe some other models are also covered on this page and you can choose the model you want to order. Mine doesn't match the one on the page, but it's just a matter of color, so it doesn't matter if you don't want to match the color for some reason. This is compatible with both Windows and Mac. They claim it has 10 years of data retention, but of course I haven't tested that. The package includes a California Proposition 65 warning stating that it may contain chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. It's probably heavy metal related and I wouldn't worry about it other than that you shouldn't let kids play with it and you should dispose of it properly. The label indicates that some of the stated capacity is used for formatting and other functions and is not available for storage. It says Made in China/Taiwan, packaged in the USA.
