This is my first weighted blanket. I used it for about a week and suffered from restless sleep and difficulty falling asleep. Many reviews said it helped both, but it didn't for me. I can say that it definitely makes me toss and turn a lot less, and it adds a nice touch of comfort when you're underneath. I weigh about 165 pounds and bought a 20 pound blanket. It's definitely heavy when you lift it all at once, but when you put it on the bed it's no problem. My smartwatch stats show I stand longer each time I sleep, but I still wake up like I always do. The bottom line is, if you're looking for a miracle blanket that will magically make you sleep better, I don't think there is one. However, the blanket seems to have helped reduce my stress levels when I first crawled under it and it keeps me in place better during the night.
