I bought these for my son who is going into the Navy and he said so. "Rollerblades" brand roller skates. Both boots were in soft boots. You were amazing! These Liku skates are sturdy boots and they fit really tight! I wear a size 10½ but this size 10 fits like a glove! Also for reference if needed (I am (m 6'00', 190lbs) I was very surprised at how well everything was constructed and how well they rode! The buckles are all spring loaded so they help with latch control which they are made of plastic and painted gold..just like other branded skates so that's totally fine.They also come with black laces which you have to tie yourself the laces all the way around, it was a lot more comfortable in the boots, I had a long allen key with its own handle, it also came with a green carabiner so you could carry it around bearings are ABEC-7 compliant and MUST BEFORE the first To be lubricated with oil for use Do not use DW-40 but use a silicone based oil for longer life sweeter slip The axle bolts were mechanically tightened at the factory and a tremendous amount of torque was required to tighten them remove and lubricate the bearings. After lubricating, the skates went MUCH faster than without the first lube. Faster than my K2s and MUCH smoother than any skate I've tried before. The aluminum frames are lightweight and painted a beautiful gold colour, but stone chips and general maintenance will inevitably damage them and the aluminum's natural color will show underneath. To be honest I had never heard of his company before and spent about $200 on a pair of three wheeled rollerblades and after trying mine and playing around with the gear (ie Skrews) it was the best pair I have ever worn .
