I used the tool that included with the kit in addition to the screwdriver that I already owned to put it together in about an hour. It would be quicker if there were more specific instructions. A month's worth of experience in its application. Buying is something I highly encourage doing. Has pros: It's a nice chair, and it's quite comfortable. Quality in both the workmanship and the processing. Contains each and every component. Every switch and gas lift is operational. Various disadvantages: As of yet, no one has been identified. The only thing that might be improved would be the instructions; first of all, there are two additions to it; second of all, the armrests came already assembled; and third of all, the drawings are too full of information on details and assemblies (my opinion). I believe that it will be simpler for the majority of customers if the instructions are formatted in the same way as the documentation for the Lego furniture designer or the Ikea furniture: one drawing with one or two design elements.
