If you have not tried Mikrotik yet, be sure to try it, just to feel the difference. What you are used to seeing in Cisco, Juniper for $$$$$ is presented here for $$. Has pros: Performance, a strong Wi-Fi antenna, _everything_ is configurable up to an adequate shaper and (!) creating a virtual machine with another OS (openwrt, for example). The processor frequency is increased to 750Mhz by simply selecting the frequency in the settings. Different cons: It is difficult to figure out how to use all the variety of functionality. There is an unhealthy desire to buy a CoreRouter (flagship model), but it is not yet clear how to ship it.
