Darker than pictured but looks high quality

Haven't used it yet but the band slips easily and fits my iWatch well. I am disappointed and am deducting a star for the color which is much darker than the web photo. While I understand images will vary by display, I've looked at it on my MacBook and on my phone and it looks like a lavender color, but it looks purplish blue and darker than the photo to me. I've attached a video and a picture in full sun and shade for reference.
