Review on 🍾 FERRODAY Stainless Steel Carbonation Cap for Effortless Soda, Beer, and Water Bottle Filling by Kelly Jones

I ordered in early September 2020. The lid I received was not engraved/marked with the Ferroday logo as shown in the picture, but the logo was on the product packaging. with a spare rubber gasket and several small spare O-rings. I would have given this rating 5 stars if it weren't for the inferior milling on the inside of the lid. . This strainer holds the ball check valve and is held in place with a metal retaining clip. This screen itself, which comes into contact with liquid when you use this cap for dosing, or comes into contact with very high pressure gas when used for carbonation, didn't grind very well. A patch of milled metal that had not been properly removed clung delicately to this screen. I took the lid off for cleaning and inspection and several pieces of the steel plating came off easily. These metal filings and scales were most likely swallowed. I used wire cutters and small pliers to trim away any excess metal that wasn't removed properly while I was routing this part of the lid before using it. The Ferroday team required serious quality control. Saving money isn't worth hurting your customers.
