The saying "you get what you pay for" is very true. I tried two different drain pump overflow detectors. Each lasted less than a year and I couldn't hear the alarm in the house. This product will text and email me when it is triggered and when it resets the alarm. The other day I received a text message that the Wi-Fi was disconnected and after I fixed the problem I received a text message and email that the connection was restored. I would save money and headaches if this was my first time choosing this detector. I highly recommend this sensor.
