I love that I can get notifications on my phone when my sump pump fails and the water level rises to avoid a disaster. Repeat the review after 6 months to see how well it works. It's easy to install once you know how to access the drain pump.

Quality product. Well packaged with relevant documentation. A little knowledge about computers and home networks is useful. Installation is easy. I've only had it installed for a few days, so I can't rate its reliability. Seems to be working fine.

Bought to monitor my pump. I didn't want to rely on an alarm so this app based theme is the perfect idea. I really like that the sensor is in the shaft so the warning is given before it's too late to react. Overall well designed and does what I wanted.

Not really difficult to install - just a little bumpy when you take apart a running system. I installed this and an additional water sensor in my basement septic tank. It gives our entire family an early warning via SMS. The email seems to be delayed, but the text arrives immediately. Hope this keeps working!

The saying "you get what you pay for" is very true. I tried two different drain pump overflow detectors. Each lasted less than a year and I couldn't hear the alarm in the house. This product will text and email me when it is triggered and when it resets the alarm. The other day I received a text message that the Wi-Fi was disconnected and after I fixed the problem I received a text message and email that the connection was restored. I first tested the dry alarm with Wi-Fi connection and it worked great. The float switch takes a while to respond, but it sent both a text and email within a minute of activating the switch, and beeped on the device itself. Then I installed it in my swamp, let the water rise, and again it alerted me via text and email. The alarm isn't very loud and I doubt I'll hear it in a house with the A/C or stove running. Very cheap quality, very faulty. It connects perfectly to your WiFi and registration is straightforward. The downside is inconsistent reporting and a very poor siren. There is also no "Test" button. The siren is no louder than the standby UPS horn (never 90dB). If you're not in the same room, you won't hear it.
