These glasses are thick. I'm not sure why people think they are skinny. The rim is as thick as any other cheap wine glass. But above all, they are simply too high. The stem is too tall for this volume. Because of this, they feel very feminine. They also don't fit in closets. Just waste your money and buy good Riedel glasses - they are nowhere near the quality I was looking for. The taste of wine is reminiscent of Chinese glassware.
