We have a very funny Rat Terrier and we got this to teach her not to bark continuously, even at people she knows and loves. When I say IT WORKS! I mean it works. We tell her not to bark but she completely ignores us. But we started doing this after giving the command "no barking" - press the button - it stops immediately and we give her praise. Currently!. All we have to do is tell her to stop and she will stop right away and want to be loved ❤. It is great! Added bonus: I take my two little boys for bike rides on their bikes and stray dogs came running towards us and I practically had to jump off the bike to protect my boys! I'm AFRAID of getting bitten, but there's no way I'm going to let one of THEM bite you instead! It was always kind of stressful when I wanted to take them on bikes because I never know if there will be another aggressive dog! Now that I know how well this thing works, I'm taking it for protection! I wanted to grab a stun gun but didn't want to get bitten when I tried to use it because I had to get close enough to the dog. Now I can aim and "shoot" with this thing!😂
