Review on 3M Patch Primer Self Adhesive Sanding by Steve Jones

An excellent set for beginners. My husband and I bought our first house in April, and we had to paint over the top sellers' colors: mustard yellow, ketchup red, and "downtown" brown (if you know what I mean). The previous owners of the house also nailed about 3.5 million things to the walls, so we had to fix them before painting. Since we're both in IT and absolute noobs when it comes to things like this (but DECIDE to find out, DAGNABBIT), I settled on this kit and we headed to town. That was great! The putty/primer reminded me of whipped icing and stayed soft despite opening and closing the kit for a week while we worked around the house to fix imperfections in the walls. We also found a baseball-sized gaping hole near the bottom hidden behind an unused switch plate, causing us to float around and make "?" noises that we were able to fix with the included net. You can't even tell there was a hole there now. I'm only deducting a star for one reason, but it's an important one. spatula included. It's a little bigger than a can of primer. That wouldn't be a big deal, except that you can't easily scrape the product off the knife when you're completing the day's work since it's too big to fit in the rim of the tub. It also means you can't easily get the product out of the tub or corners as the knife is too big to fit in to remove the product. We had to use our fingers to dig it up.
