I got my deposit back!

I got my rental deposit back. I had installed a burglar alarm system and left a big hole. I used this product and it worked like a charm. The technician patched the hole as he removed the alarm panel, but without the mesh the patch was brittle. I used it with mesh and patched the hole properly. I would recommend getting your own sanding block as it is flimsy. If you want this product to work properly, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST. Some of the bad reviews are due to user error and not the product

Works well, but read the label first!

I used this product to fill some small holes in my apartment when I moved out. I read the instructions and started filling the hole with a spatula. No strong odor, easy to apply, thick and easy to spread. I enjoyed it with a growing sense of accomplishment. This project has been on my to-do list for a long time. I filled the first hole and moved on to a few pinholes on the walls. I used my finger to do this and enjoyed the little holes that magically disappeared until I read the packaging…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No power

Seems to do the trick. The primer is not so easy to apply evenly. Doesn't dry out in 20-30 minutes. It is best to wait a few hours before you start painting. Please note that I tried this in summer (not too hot but not cold either). In the colder months of the year, it is best to leave it overnight before painting. Not very happy with the foundation as it tends to fall off if you don't apply it evenly and carefully put more effort into shaping it. The sanding pad may not solve all the problems…

An excellent set, if only the spatula in the set were smaller

An excellent set for beginners. My husband and I bought our first house in April, and we had to paint over the top sellers' colors: mustard yellow, ketchup red, and "downtown" brown (if you know what I mean). The previous owners of the house also nailed about 3.5 million things to the walls, so we had to fix them before painting. Since we're both in IT and absolute noobs when it comes to things like this (but DECIDE to find out, DAGNABBIT), I settled on this kit and we headed to town. That was…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Fading
