Awesome popcorn maker

This popcorn maker is amazing. It is not only very effective but also easy to clean. However, there are some basic rules of use. Don't put anything in the popper EXCEPT popcorn kernels! That's what the instructions say! What not to do: My dad decided to be smart and instead of making his own popcorn, he added salt and oils with popcorn kernels and it made a huge mess when he started microwaving it. This is NOT how you should use it. The extreme temperature inside the popper turned the popcorn, butter, and salt into a black, burned, sticky substance previously unknown to man. Microwaves choked up on burnt popcorn and death itself forced me to research how to "fix" microwaves that had burnt popcorn on and after boiling the vinegar in it in a jar and then wiping it down as netizens instructed , the microwave was saved. . I actually thought my dad ruined the microwave, the smell was so awful. However, this is fixable thanks to vinegar! In short, if you use this popper properly, you will love it. My dad no longer tries to trick the popper and uses it the way it was intended to be used and we haven't had any problems with it since. Also, my dad loves making popcorn with this thing, you literally just pour 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels into the popcorn, microwave it for about 2 minutes and this popcorn pops almost all of the kernels out completely without burning the popcorn . . It's pretty amazing! If you want to flavor popcorn, salt, oils, etc., you must add them AFTER the popcorn has popped and the popcorn is in ANOTHER container. I try to keep all other substances off the popper and only put popcorn kernels in it. The beauty is that you will learn that there are many types of popcorn and they all come in different flavors. We made the signature yellow "corn" popcorn and then tried the "Amish Baby White" popcorn which reminds me of the popcorn they used to sell in public places like county fairs etc. When used properly, this popcorn is far more effective than any other. in my opinion a fancy big butter popcorn machine. This popper is small, cheap and cleaning is as simple as rinsing with water and some soap. I'm so glad I bought these instead of one of the trendy popcorn makers.
