Easy to install and test.

I won't bore you with restating everything that's already in the ad. They are easy to install and test with the test button right out of the box. We don't smoke and I won't light any paper in the house to test it. So I just have to test the function. I hope they last 10 years. But 7 suits me too. I'm so fed up with it that the batteries die every time there's no spare in the house.
