Review on 🦚 5D Full Drill Diamond Painting Kit: DIY Rhinestone Cross Stitch Embroidery, Peacock Wall Decor 12x12 inch by Lori Aguirre

This is my fourth Diamond Painting Kit that has been sent to me for testing and evaluation. This is one of three that I haven't given a perfect 5 star rating and I'll explain why in a couple of paragraphs. First the good things about this set. The directions were easy to follow - they were on the sides of the canvas and the pockets had clear labels; both were large enough to be easily read. The tools provided were good, although not the most convenient I've seen in a set. I basically made my own set of diamond painting tools from an item or two from different kits that I tested. "Diamonds" are rounded at the bottom for easy placement; I don't think there is too much wiggle room to detract from the resulting image. The canvas glue held the pieces very well for the two weeks it took me to finish this. There were many "diamonds" for each color group so I never had to replace them with a different color like other sets. But the set wasn't perfect. Some of the "diamonds" didn't separate completely, and only about half of them managed to separate when I tried. That meant I had to throw out a fair amount of it. The "diamonds" were not the same size; Some were slightly larger or smaller, which isn't a big deal, but there were at least 2-4 of each color that were significantly smaller, to the point where they couldn't be used anymore. Also, the color of the "diamonds" was much darker than the colors used in the instructions and on the canvas, so the final image was darker than you might expect. While the overall canvas size was relatively standard for framing, the artwork itself was larger than most cut out framing mats, so I had to find someone to help me cut the mat to size as I didn't have the right tools and learn about it. But I had a lot of fun working on this project for two weeks and I like (but dislike) how the final image turned out.
