I am a marine aquarium enthusiast and have 180, 150, 30, 8 and 5 gallon. In my large systems, I use high-quality coal and GFO reactors, as well as three smaller tanks. This is a highly recommended product from a highly respected, science-based aquatic research center. It's not intended to be dumped into reactors, so I don't like it, but it works very well in small or non-reactor systems. The choice of carbon is VERY important and not all carbons are created equal. If you have marine fish that are particularly susceptible to HLLE disease, poor carbon selection can exacerbate this problem. If you need reactor coal I would recommend a great coal from another location. However, if you want a pre-packaged, high-quality product, this will meet your carbon and GFO needs very well. Boyd's vitamins are also excellent and highly recommended.
