I bought two of these for my cats for an upcoming 4 hour move. They both loved them as soon as I took them out. They come folded (as expected) and I was really pleased that the top/sides didn’t kinda fall inward like a lot of soft carriers will. The strap is really sturdy and adjustable. Now, for size it kinda depends on the size of your cat. These are roomy in width and height (12”) however the length isn’t going to work for one of my cats. He is a tall, long cat and when he sat inside head first, his butt was still sticking out a good 2 inches. He had plenty of room to curl up bc it’s wide but he’s not the curl up kinda cat lol. He loves to stretch out. My other cat is prob the size of most adult cats and she fit in fine and actually she’s been sleeping in it off and on, just bc she likes it. I have a third cat that is more petite and I’m going to use one of them for him instead. I was going to keep both of them and use one for my med size cat but I’ve decided that for such a long trip, I’m going to return one and I have bought another brands carrier that is 24”x16”x16”. They have not arrived yet.So, I do really like this carrier. My only complaint is the mesh is very soft on the screens and I don’t feel like it would hold up with a determined cat. It is not that hard wax like mesh that is more chew/starch resistant. I was really worried about that bc both of my cats that I first mentioned are chewers. If you have a determined cat, this is not the right one for you.My third cat that I am keeping this for is very very chill so I’m not worried about him scratching or chewing.It’s a shame really, bc otherwise this is a solid, well built carrier.
