You will be disappointed

I had the same problems as the other reviewers. They arrived Monday morning and returned to the UPS truck before 5:00 p.m. They were easy enough to install by removing one side at a time and fitting the new pedals to the correct side of the bike. However, the pedals became detached at some point during the ride. After the right pedal came off a second time during our 12-mile ride, we knew they would be back. Upon reassembly, they noticed that the threads had clogged from the force of the pedal on the constantly loosening bolt. I had to cut the pedal off with pliers so we could limp the remaining 4 miles home on my 8 year old bike. Two miles from the finish, the second pedal almost fell off. Luckily I caught it fast enough to re-tighten before it got off the bike. Just to put it bluntly; The pedals were installed on the correct side of the bike according to the package instructions. The pedal has been separated from the Bell adapter included in the kit. The blue screw lock, with which you avoid exactly this problem, is not enough to compensate for the sloppy thread cutting. Also note; The pedals did not rotate easily around the shaft, which actively unscrewed some of the pedaling power. I will avoid Bell products in the future.
