Cleaning paint without clay

Today I used spray lubricant to paint my wife's Benz with clay. Took her to the garage, she said "Have you waxed yet"? LOL I was like no I just do it. Dirt is removed in a short time. I started the car at 1:30pm and finished gluing in about an hour. Then I wiped off the IPA and polished the DA with BOSS polish. 100% ready in 6 hours. The clay pillow is great. And I plan to put it on my BMW tomorrow. The pad still looks good enough to use on a projector.
