Review on 📏 Sperry Instruments CT6101 Heavy Duty Continuity Tester: Reliable, 2 Range with 36-inch Lead by Ashwin Worlds

My first review: It's a good tester but it didn't work right out of the blister pack. I found that the battery negative terminal soldered to the end of the wire was corroded and preventing contact. After I sanded it down with fine sandpaper, the tester worked perfectly. I used it today and it doesn't work at all; no flicker. I opened it up and checked all the contacts and everything looked fine. Changed batteries, still no joy. It's too late to return. This is an inferior production at best; at worst, it's just a sloppy design doomed to fail. It's a shame, I really liked it. If you buy it, I hope you have better luck than me.
