destroy speakers. It's almost like a hobby. I'm running EVERYTHING off the #40 amp coming off the main unit here. I've been putting 160 watts per channel into these suction cups for a year now and still haven't been able to blow them up. The tweeters go into the circuit protection in the crossover when I push them (yes, they're designed for that), but that's about it. I don't seem able to kill her. I've blown up every brand you can think of. Kenwood, Pioneer, MTX, Kicker. All of them. The masses just accept it and don't seem to care. They are not designed to push the bass. These are medium and high frequencies. Don't expect them to sound like a subwoofer. But if you have a subwoofer, they will complement these perfectly. Absolutely worth the price or even a little more. Just buy em.run them right and you'll thank me later.
