This Review is for the APMIEK 18 Car Detailing Brush Set Pretty good set of car detailing brushes I will look at each item or group of items individually Red and Black Long Wheel Brush: This brush is good for cleaning between the spokes and the inside of the wheel Rim Short Black & Gray Brush: This brush is good for cleaning the front of the wheel and the sidewall of the tire Triple Brush Set (Nylon, Brass, and Steel): This is a really good set of ergonomic brushes (nylon, brass and steel). I like that the handle is curved so the brush is easier to grip and doesn't get in the way of your hand. I also find that it makes cleaning easier in most places. Set of five red and black wheel brushes in different sizes: A set of five wheel brushes that they show for detailing the exterior of the car, which is not possible. There are other tools that are faster and more efficient. However, these brushes are good for drawing interior details, and with long, thin handles, they can get a lot of interior stains. Red Triple Slot Brush: I found this brush more useless than anything else. They show that it can be used to clean a car's front air intakes, but in most cars they seal fairly well and a wash mitt is more effective. White/Green Reversible Brush: This brush is good for removing dust from HVAC cabins. ventilation holes. Grey-black flat cloth: very good for removing dust from the dashboard, especially in the front area of the windscreen. Blue Microfiber Chenille Wash Mitt: Cleans the front of the wheels and spokes very well. Just make sure that if you're using it to clean wheels, you're not using it to clean anything else. Wheel dust is metallic so you can scratch the paint if you use the same thing as the paint to clean the wheels. Polishing Pads (cloth and sponge): These are normal polishing pads. One is made of cloth and the other is made of sponge. Two microfiber towels: For cleaning the car, I like it when the towels have different colored sides. That's how I know which side I started on. These are small towels. I would say they are good for cleaning glass or interiors. You can also use them to dry your wheels. They have four sides between two towels, so one side per wheel works well. Just don't use them, dry something else. As I mentioned earlier, brake dust contains metal components, so you don't want to scratch painted surfaces. I also like the hook to hang them up to dry. Overall, this set contains a number of useful items. This is an especially great kit for those who have few or no car cleaning tools. I would say maybe one or two things would be very helpful, a red slotted brush and a steel brush. I haven't found anything to ever use a steel brush with a car. I've only used brass brushes to clean battery acid with baking soda. It's fairly priced for what you get and it's a pretty solid kit.
