Review on Remanufactured Cardone 20-661 Power Steering Pump (Reservoir NOT Included) by Ron Kishore

About a year later (I forgot when I bought it, the service book says 09/29/19) I can confirm that in my particular situation this pump is not withstand. I wanted to start the truck this morning, but it stopped immediately and the switchback squeaked. In short, the pump is stuck inside. Update: Not only did the serpentine burst and create a cloud of burnout in the engine bay, it chewed through the plastic pulley on the tensioner (cha-ching! More crap to fix!). I disassembled the pump because why not (can't return it and it doesn't work), and not just the vanes used in the pump to create a gradually diverging flow of liquid, but the housing that holds the vanes, was destroyed. Also, don't try to leave the magnet inside to capture particles as it will also self-destruct over time. Save money and buy something better!
