Review on ๐Ÿ”ง 5-Piece Neiko 20687A Automotive Specialty Tool Set: Ball Joint Separator, Tie Rod End Remover, Pickle Fork by Jesse Francilme

Revainrating 5 out of 5

1994 GMC k2500 6.5 Turbo Diesel

I used these to replace the inner and outer tie rod ends and adjusters on both sides, the center link to the intermediate arm and the bracket to the link and the link to the steering gear associate. The box to the link, the bolts on the cocking arm and the pit handle were captured on the middle link. I used them to pound beep-beep-beep-beep out of them with my trusty 4-pound husky mallet. I've never had to use a full size slide on them but I'm sure they will take it, they took quite a few hard hits, over and over and over again, until I was finally able to use one Taking a 3 foot long pry bar and squeezing it between the pickle fork and putting all my strength on the fork with my body weight to loosen that grip bolt. I couldn't have done it without them, this is a good cheap set, for the price it gets the job done, I look forward to beating them to death for the rest of their lives, I don't feel sorry does The hammer side go bad - to hit them so they are more likely to be used again and again they can be hit hard and the clevises hold up great. They work and give them 5 stars because I know how much work they saved me lol.
