Review on MICHELIN Latitude Cross 235/60 R16 104H summer by Stanislaw Rogulski ᠌

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

long chose what kind of tires to replace the worn-out Kumho. The choice fell on several manufacturers: Uniroyal, Bridgestone and Michelin. Uniroyal is an excellent rain tire, but expensive, very soft and has a weak sidewall (punctures and hernias). I read the reviews and eventually settled on the Michelin Latitude Cross 255/55 R18, tk. I needed a rubber with the ability to use on the primer. I have only been using it for the first month, and here are my first impressions: 1) this is definitely not 100% road tires, hence (so that they do not write there in other reviews) noise (the tread is a bit aggressive) - it rustles when you drive on smooth asphalt like winter; 2) again, so that they don’t write there, all the bumps are very transmitted to the suspension, the shocks are sensitive; 3) braking at low speeds is excellent, the higher the speed, the more you keep your distance - the car on this rubber "floats" with strong braking. Again, these are my first impressions of this tire. I have not yet had to drive along the Primer, so I can’t say anything about its “off-road” characteristics. I didn’t have to drive through large puddles, I didn’t check for hydroplaning. A more accurate impression of the rubber will be formed after its running in and checking the characteristics in various conditions.

Pros
  • reliable, time-tested brand
Cons
  • high price, noisy, rolling in braking
