I just installed these so can't speak to durability but they make a great replacement for the reworked blocks on our 2012 Sorento. Every one of these tailgate carriers gets old, it's just life. But our originals got to the point where they left the door open about 70% when it got cold outside. As expected, this was an easy, no-fuss replacement that I did on my own. The mechanic's lock pick made this even easier than the instructions on how to remove the locking clips, but it's not something everyone will have in their tool box. Just ask an assistant to hold the door if you're unsure about holding solo doors after removing the old ones. They note this in their instructions, but people may not realize how heavy the tailgate is.
