Ideal for a sliding window

I have large slider windows that have replaced image windows and these shades work great for this application. I particularly like the fact that I can leave one standing and partially lower the other so that the birds at the feeding station cannot see me. And with the curtain half drawn, I can still watch the birds from the dining table. This is a much better choice for privacy at night than the blinds I've had before. And even with triple-paned windows, drapes help mitigate the heat and cold of Vermont summers and winters.
