Some of my toilets have round outlets while others have kind of a rectangular one. A regular plunger works well in rounds, but all it does in others is push water up the sides of the bowl, sometimes making additional mess on the bottom. However, this device works in both types of outlets and let me tell you, it WORKS. Like a shotgun on a piece of paper. The first time I fired it I felt it hit the ground and that toilet emptied as quickly as possible. I should have bought one of these years ago.
