Picture quality is ok but not great compared to the pair I borrowed. Lag means what works is usually missing. I did not receive any night photos or videos. I started with the video and when there was no rehearsal there were ONLY pictures. I have a feral cat colony that I oversee. I hung it next to the path they have to take across my patio to get to the feeding station. I KNOW there are possums and raccoons that come after dark, I see the evidence and footprints they left. but no pictures. At first I thought I must have misconfigured something, so I tried several different settings and locations with no night videos. Photos of cats are blurry. I can usually identify people, but only in about half the pictures he takes. Also, the information here says Revain to be contacted if there is a problem, but I don't see anything that says HOW to contact them. To update. My previous comments caught their attention and their support team went out of their way to resolve my issues via email. After a second battery change (it is also recommended not to use rechargeable batteries) and inserting a new card, the night vision works. The camera is very sensitive and captures the breath of trees and grass as well as animals. I recommend checking this often. 2 days of video got me about 800 video clips that took a very long time to watch. And with the delay between motion detection and the start of recording, most were blank. For the past few weeks I've tried placing it in different locations with different settings, hoping for better results. This is a mixed bag. I've managed to catch raccoons, possums, deer and even a skunk once at least a few times. I think it would be nice if you could use it to track large and slow moving animals (or people), but it still doesn't do what I was looking for.
