This scale doesn't take up much space but is big enough to get the job done. When I first used the scale it gave inconsistent readings, but (as another reviewer suggested) I kept stepping up and down until the scale calibrated and then stabilized and gave an accurate reading. It consistently reads just a tenth of a pound more than our other scales. It's easy to read and the ad stays active for a few seconds after you step back. I love that it shows you your weight instantly without judging your BMI. The instructions are weirdly translated into English.
