I am a new radio amateur. That was my first antenna. My radio has a built in antenna analyzer and antenna tuner. This antenna is perfect for my Xiegu G90 radio. The antenna takes up little space and is mounted independently on its own stand. I can pack my radio, antenna, 100-foot coax, and battery into a small backpack that leaves room for a day trip or weekend trip to campus. The antenna is very well tuned and works on all amateur radio bands with an SWR of 1.5 Avatar. without using an antenna tuner. Make sure you have enough space to route this cable. It's almost 80 feet long at the transmitter, and the meter reads another 15 feet or so. The antenna can be configured in different ways (tilted, inverted V, inverted L, etc.) depending on the band/mode selected.
