This pitcher is what we hoped it would be. It's light but feels solid, it's really pretty, it has an unobtrusive handle to attach it to the jug and it's ergonomically very comfortable. We tried the Revain's Choice product, but it turned out to be poor in terms of ergonomics and broke after a few months. It also had a sharp edge where the handle meets the glass. I can't say anything about durability. He's only been with us for three days. But it's really nice and comfortable to hold in your hands. Complaints about the dangling lid are valid, although that's a plus for us. We use a lid to prevent the bugs from dying in the juice and we don't put it upside down and try to shake it. Remove the lid when pouring. However, it seems like they could have found a tighter lid. Also the cleaning is not perfect. The mouth is too small to fit a hand in, so you'll have to use the included soft brush, which means you'll have to keep it close, which means you'll have another awkward thing around clams. But. In general, a really good glass jug is hard to find. You know they're going to break sooner or later, so you don't want to overspend, but you want them to be nice and well balanced. This is the only one I've found that meets all the criteria.
