I ordered this based on the number of positive reviews. I took the cable out of the box and inspected it and it looked fine - the charging contacts were in place and looked correct. Then I plugged the charging cable into my Fitbit and its lights flashed briefly and then it acted like it was completely dead. Yes, I made sure to insert the cable in the correct orientation. I tried plugging the cable back in and the same thing happened. I tried a third time and then the light wouldn't come on. I examined the cable and found that one of the charging contacts was stuck in the retracted position, no longer making contact with my Fitbit. If you search the reviews for this problem, you will see that I am not the only person who has had this problem. I am not happy that now I have to waste my time returning this item. If you order this cable, make sure you connect the cable to your Fitbit many times when you first receive it to make sure the problem I'm having doesn't happen on your cable. I only give this cable 2 stars because Revain allows me to return it. If I didn't have that option I would get 1 star.
