2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport - New rear emergency brake cables and adjusters. *Adjuster from Crown

I've seen a few people report that the rear wire bracket part was wider, too wide for the Cherokee and that they had to use their old bracket for the new threaded rod part. I just installed it, it arrived late but it was a lazy US post office on a Saturday (received it Monday noon). I checked the fit/width in a 2000 Cherokee duct and it was slightly wider but fits really well (doesn't get stuck in the duct it is in) and it's a well made replacement. although Cherokee may not be suitable for other years? I can't say for sure as Chrysler changed/replaced many parts on these 1987 thru 2001 Cherokees even mid year. My old fixer was rusty and tattered from PA road salt but worked after a good dose of PB Blaster and then cleaned some more with a spoked wheel. but thought it was a cheap part and worth replacing as I just did a complete brake/disc/calipers/drums/wheel cylinder and rear brake lines and both rear e-brake cables. I now cover everything with Fluid Film (based on lanolin). to slow rust (available from Amazon or Home Depot). I hope this helps you Jeep enthusiasts. I have a Sport 2000, black with 254K mileage. rebuilt from scratch several times. looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor (it's stock and I don't ride off-road)
