Good power converter. The sturdy case and wires have a nice baffle at the entrance to the case. I checked the specs (5 amp max) and I'm using this to power a 12vdc 3.5 amp fan for a van conversion. I bought a two core shielded cable and connected it directly to the fan. It's nice to be able to plug a fan into my 120V circuit and turn it off when not needed. A simple converter to keep AC anywhere, instead of having to switch between AC and DC with DC devices in multiple places.
