Pleasant - initial smell but fades after a while
I bought this because it's on sale now and I need something on the bed to help me read. I received this in mid-June 2021 and washed the cover immediately. However my wife complained a bit about the smell but I couldn't tell. We put it aside for a month and only use it occasionally. Until now - mid-August - neither my wife nor I have felt anything strange anymore. I gave this product 4 stars because of the smell, although this dissipated over time. It is very convenient to use as a lumbar support.
