We bought a new house and I bought the SimpliSafe system. I placed a water sensor under each sink and behind the washing machine. We were away for a few days and I got a warning from the water sensor. I asked my neighbor to come over and the air conditioner drain came loose from the pan and air rushed into the house. Luckily the AC is in the laundry/utility area so the water went straight onto the water sensor and worked. A little towel work, reattach the hose and you're done. Now I've added sensors in the AC pantry and behind each toilet. Water is every home's enemy, but it's the best insurance you can buy. I accidentally disabled the sensor and the SimpliSafe monitor rang for a few seconds. I have 2 other systems for my other house and my daughter's house, so far all SimpliSafe systems have been fine!
