Review on Supercapacitor Infrared G Sensor Recording Supports by Paul Gravely

Great option for ridesharing drivers

This is a budget dual lens dash cam with high quality Sony sensors and a parking mode. The video is very clear even at night, and the invisible infrared light from the internal camera is bright enough. Another practical feature is that the angle of the interior can be adjusted without moving the entire unit. The resolution can be set up to QHD (2560x1440). That's good, but the downside of QHD is that objects appear much further away than they really are, and you get a little fisheye effect. I found FHD (1920*1080) at 30 fps to be optimal, which is still crystal clear and offers a perfect field of view. FHD/30 fps is also the option to select to use the internal camera as well. If you don't need an internal camera, FHD offers smoother recording at 60 fps. This camera's WiFi signal is strong for when you need to download a clip to your phone on the go. I had no errors with the app. I was able to download three minute clips to my iPhone 7 in a minute or less. The hardwire kit was very easy to install with only one fuse. I'm not mechanical and have never messed with car electronics, but I was able to do it in under an hour. Leave a comment if you need help or installation instructions. The support team is very responsive to my messages and quick to update the firmware if they find an error. Overall I am very impressed with this DVR.
