I bought this item to use at work. It is really important. I wasn't sure if I'd want to hang it around my neck all day, but it really doesn't bother me. When I go on a break or leave the department I plug it in for a fee and it lasts over 8 hours. Most of the day it's on level 2. Sometimes I use level 3 for a few minutes at a time. But level 2 is usually strong enough to keep you cool. I tried it outside while we were sightseeing on a very hot and humid day. In this situation, keeping a cool head didn't help me. I think the natural wind was interfering with the fan. But since I bought it for work, it does exactly what I need it to and does it very well. I've only had him for a few weeks. But so far I am very happy with my purchase.
